CHRISTMAS, CHRISTMAS TIME was HERE!

It...snowed. On...Christmas. I'm never gonna forget this year.
Seriously, the last time it snowed in our area on Christmas was in 1963. It's flurried every now and then, but never enough to stick or play with. I don't even think that something so minuscule should be called snow.

Well, here I am to wish everyone a very merry, albeit day-late, Christmas. Yesterday was too chaotic for me to get onto blogger to post anything. But chaotic in a good way, which is just how I like things.

This year, I was blessed in getting an acoustic guitar, another fedora hat (thanks Cody!), a trivial pursuit card game, a stocking full of candies and chocolates, black bed sheets (NO MORE PINK!), a comforter set, pajama pants (I was practically down to only one that fit, and they were a pare of sweat pants that were progressively getting holey-er), some cool shirts, and a bunch of hugs. I also got a 25 dollar gift card to target (thanks Dad!).

Hope your Christmas was as amazing, blessed, and totally freaking AWESOME as mine!

Merry Christmas, and Peace Out-

Done, finished, complete-o, author of a novel and owner of an over-imaginated brain

I WON! I WON!!!!!

I did it, I'm done, I finished my novel in less than a month! Goodbye to NaNo for this year, hello to a new world of opportunities.

More NaNo

Sigh. I cut my story for NaNo too short, and now I have to put a little filler in. I haven't put in the very ending yet, because I'm scared I'll screw something up and there won't be enough words. So, I put in a whole chapter of side stories, wrote a page on character descriptions, and now I'm going back and finding words like: haven't, weren't, they're, I'm, and changing them to have not, were not, they are, I am. It is sad and pathetic, but at least I am getting more words!!!

The ending will be awesome, though. I suddenly had the inspiration for it like, 10,000 words ago, and it was like Angels were shining down on me. It was just that good of an idea! I'm hoping to publish the book when I'm done, and also make a sequel. Then, I might make a side-story specifically for one of the characters. Wish me luck...

Peace Out-

As Promised, My Second Post

Me and my peeps at a get together for an early Thanksgiving.

My handsome boy, Logan

This one I did on paint, which is sooooo hard.

Well, you just got a peek into my life. Enjoy yours.

Posting

So, I'm trying to do better on how much I post. I've slowly gotten worse and worse to the point where I wouldn't post for like, three months. In fact, to prove that I'll do better, maybe I'll even post two posts today. *the shock*

Update for NaNoWriMo

Hi, humanoid species. I've so far written 30,128 words for NaNoWriMo, but I'm really far back (about 10,000 words) so, *cheerful tone* I'm going to be writing a lot today.

NaNoWriMo

So, this month I'm doing NaNoWriMo for the first time, which is a writing thing where you have to write a novel in a month. So far, it's going pretty good. I have 8,040 words written already, and I think I finally have a plot line. Which, you know, is good, seeing as how I've kinda been winging it.
Hopefully I'll be able to write the full 50,000 words this month. If not, I hope it's high enough that I'm not ashamed of it, and that it ends with an ending, not with a "didn't have enough time to write an ending.
Wish me luck...

This is Halloween, this is Halloween, La la la, lala la la la...

It's Halloween. This year has gone by like a breeze. You wake up one day and it's so hot outside that a fan blasting full speed on you isn't enough, and then you wake up the next and you're so cold, there are icicles growing on your eyelids.
This Halloween, I'm going as a mouse, Cody's going as Jason from Friday the thirteenth, Mom's going to be a Cowgirl, and my dad's working...he'll be a ghost!!! Hehehe.
I hope the rest of you have a good day, get lots of candy, and rot your teeth out! *Maybe minus that last part*

Peace Out-

poem...

If all has failed

And nothing left to keep

A whisper of the wind

Brushing against thy cheek

If the fight has been lost

If the war has ensued

And the ashes of our fellow comrades

Become the ground we walk on

If our tears turn to blood

And the sky is charcoal

To where you know the sun

Will never beckon us out of our dreams again

If chaos is the only rode left to take

If we will only smile with bitterness from now on

If all of this has happened in this morning

Then today is a better day

Than yesterday

Recapturing these last few days

We've been riding bikes these last few days, and I managed to have this wreck...I now have a skinned knee and a scraped elbow. Sigh. And they say exercise is good for you. Anyway, we have now completely painted my room purple, and I will probably post pictures later. It looks pretty cool, if I do say so myself. There's this new song a like called Dear X: You don't own me, by Disciple. I beat Super Mario Galaxy 2, and now there's a special level*shhhhhhhhh* I'm still working on the plans for the time machine. We got a cat, and we named him Thomas O'mally. He's either really spastic, or a snuggle-bug. Depends on the trajectory of the moon and the sun.

Peace Out-

Poem/Song Thingy

It is hot
It is warm
Yesterday there was a storm
Or it might have been
The day before
That

In the winter
It was cold
A few times it
Actually snowed
And I kept complaining about
That

Fall is nice
Spring is sweet
It's warm enough
That the cool breeze
Doesn't feel to strong and
That
Is
The
Time
I want to be in right now
Because
It's
Too
Warm
I'm gonna catch heat stroke...anyhow

I'm not complainin'
I'm just sayin'
Build a time machine
Take me to the future spring
And we'll all be happy

This above is a poem/song I just randomly thought of while I was typing.

Maybe me and Chan-Chan will figure out the plans for the time machine made out of Duct Tape.

Saturday, August 7, 2010

It's sooooo hot! Okay, I realize that all through winter I complained about how cold it was, but SERIOUSLY!!!!!! Now it's that time of year where you can't even go outside to get your mail before boiling to death! But you know what? It's fine. The weather will change and get cooler. All will be well. I'm also working on a book, I might start trying to draw an actual manga story, and I got some cool books at B.A.M. yesterday. I got Dante's Inferno, and Words You Should Know And Use In High school. I also ordered a manga, Vampire Knight Volume 1. I can't wait to get that one. We went swimming the other day at Cathy's house, and I got to spend the night, which was awesome. Kaitlin and I got into the pool again around 10:00 p.m., I think, and we got out around 12:00 a.m. Then the next morning we got up and even before we had breakfast, we were in the pool again. :)

Yesterday we went to a few stores, and I got two new pairs of jeans, and a biology book. I'll post pictures of me wearing the jeans later. One pair is really funky and cool.
Then, like I said, we went to B.A.M.

Also, I'm really liking this one song that's in Japanese; it's the Vampire Knight theme song. here's a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4j1sdNGw4M8

That's pretty much my summary of the past few days.

The Daily Routines

We live
We laugh
We cry
We sigh
We say our hello's
We say our goodbye's
We frown
We smile
We have a good time
We make mistakes
We steal, we lie
We do what we're told
We get fed up
We rebel
We run away
We get caught
And it is too much
We slowly sink back
To the daily routines
But out there lies a world
That is filled with dreams

NEW POEM!!!!!!

REMEMBERING

Remember the day
When we still had a home
Remember the night
When we weren't alone
Remember the stars
Shining bright through the haze
Remember the light
Beckoning us that way
Remember the tunnel
It's edges cold stone
Then remember the fiery light
And then...pain, defeat, and we were alone

Adorable

I just went in my mom's room to ask her a question, and she was sound asleep, with the t.v. still on. I turned it off and such and "quietly" left the room. "Quietly" meaning I managed to step on the one spot in the floor where it creaked like crazy. Hm...that might be my new catchphrase. Anyway, thankfully she didn't wake up, and just lay there peacefully, totally at ease.

They're so cute when they're that age.

Fate

AGH!!!
Head hurts from trying to think of something to type.

Oh, here's one. My Grama (yes I know that's not how you spell it) is back in town, and also, we're going on a camping trip in a few days.

Oh, and the other day when I got together with friends, I broke my camera. I meaning Emily/Jake.
And then I spent the night at Kaitlin's house, and her dog, Missy, scratched my leg while I'm walking in the door, almost making me run head first into a stove. And then I went to Kaitlin's room to put my bag down, and her moon stick scratched my leg, and then, as I'm telling them about this, I run shoulder first into her door frame. And then, my mp5 decided not to work and it just froze up, but, thank god, it's working now. I'm serious. Praise the lord.

Apparently, Fate wasn't kind that day.

When all else fails, fail harder than all else.

That pretty much sums it up.

Peace Out

An awesome song that only a few people will understand. (Yes, you know I'm looking at YOU)

Here is a song that I must sing...and hopefully, I won't die.

Verse 1:

I woke up today,
With icing on my face.
A feather up my nose,
Sprayed my brother with a water hose.

I watched some T.V.
Got very sleepy.
Then I was reminded of this morning.

Chorus:

La, lalala, la la, la la.
La, lalala, la la, la la.
If you jump off a cliff,
I'll probably follow.
It looks pretty fun.
Pretty as a Swallow.
I'm referring to,
The bird, you know.
And if you don't,
You're pretty slow.

Verse 2:

Jumped up and down.
I really hate clowns.
Almost as much as I hate pink.
I wanted to go to the skating rink,
But the Zombies ate my pudding.

And so I slayed those Zombies.
With the best weapon, at ease.
No, I'm not talking about a torch I lit.
I'm talking about my awesome wit.

Chorus:

La, lalala, la la, la la.
La, lalala, la la, la la.
If you jump up and down on an alligator,
It sounds like a pretty fun adventure.
As fun as the night is long.
Now watch me turn into a were-wolf.
I'll eat your brain,
If you're a Zombie.
But then again, I'll eat humans,
If first you ate my pudding.

Bridge:

Featherweight,
Eat more cake.
Have a nice,
Birthday.
And if you don't,
I'll be mad.
Because I just got stepped on,
And it hurt a tad.

Chorus:

La, lalala, la la, la la.
La, lalala, la la, la la.
I'm guessing that's the end.
The red squiggly lines are here again.
I hate them oh so much you know.
And if I didn't,
I'd be pretty slow.

Peace Out

Florida

Okay. We just got back from our trip to Florida, and I know I should post pictures, and I will, but not right now. My mom took 1,350 pictures(I'm not kidding,) and I took like 45 that I haven't even uploaded to the computer yet, so please just give me awhile. The gist of it is:

1. I was kissed by a sea lion.

2. I rode in a helicopter.

3. I went on the Slingshot for my second time.

4. I rode in a golf cart kinda thingy.

5. I went to the beach, of course.

6. The pictures will explain the rest.

Oh, and we made a fire and I did the fireworks setting on my camera and the pictures are awesome. You'll see.

DayDREAM Believer

I had this dream the other night and in part of it, it was like I had written this song, and on this laptop someone was playing the same song. Except it was a different band with the actual music to it, not just the lyrics. This is like the second time this has happened to me, but every time I wake up, I can't remember the song. And it's a pretty good song. What should I do?

Happy late Easter, and really late happy April fools. Hope you had a good day.

We just got back from our trip to North Carolina for some gem mining. Pics to come.

Well...what else to say?

OH, check out my friend Tori's blogs. In my last post, she commented, so you can go to her blogs from there. And please check out her new blog, called phatgirlreadingcircle. Or something like that. She's started a kind of book club thingy.

Ooh, and now I'm gonna drink some hot tea. Yea.

German: Sprechen The What?

I was just learning some German, and now my brain feels like this: .
Nothing. It just imploded, leaving a speck of dust.
I think the hardest part is that some of the words resemble what we call stuff, like cola in German is Die Cola, and some stuff just leaves you like, um...WHAT!?!
But now I can count to twenty in German, and I know how to say pizza(Die Pizza) and Cola in German, so that's good.

Okay, fine, I know a little bit more than that, but at least I know that if all else fails and for some reason I'm living in Germany, then I will have something to eat and drink, and so I will live.

New Moon And The Torture I Will Receive For Bringing It Up

So, my mom went to the store and got "New Moon" the day it was released and I watched it that night and last night I watched the music videos and the special features. (It was the two disc edition.) And now my friends are going to torture me for posting that or liking some vampires that sparkle or bringing it up at all. The only one that won't is Keilee. Well, at least I have one shoulder to cry on-not that I cry or anything. No...ummm (whistles innocently?)

-Britney

P.S. The torture will never stop. NEVER!

P.P.S. You just don't know.

Comments are welcome

So...I can't tell if you guys like the blog or not. I've gotten no emails from friends, and no comments on this blog in forever. C'mon guys. Just comment your opinion. It can be negative too. I'm open to suggestions and such, just COMMENT ALREADY.

Mess-up

Seriously sorry about how big the letters are. This thing is messing up.

TOO RAINY...I'm seeing a coincidence here.

It's rainy...AGAIN!!!!!
I can't TAKE IT!!!!!
I seriously need to hibernate till it gets warm and sunny again. Even though the first day of spring was YESTERDAY.
All of this grayness is getting, well, to gray.
So, see ya in three months. And if you need me, I'll be under my rock. (Yes, I KNOW I sound a bit like Patrick from Spongebob. DO I CARE? NO!)
(Well, actually I do, but I'm not gonna tell you that.)

Lots to do with dreary days

So, did everyone notice that it was sunny out yesterday and today? I'm so happy. I mean, I write death poetry and stuff, but enough gray, cloudy, nothingness days can even make my head spin.

A lot has been going on lately.

My brother had his 9th birthday.
I've written more death poetry and parts of songs.
I've been working on that AWESOME book I told you guys about.
I got the new Maximum Ride book.
I read the whole Maximum Ride book in less than a day, and that day was yesterday.
I had silly string war with my family in the front yard yesterday.
I've felt somewhat friend deprived for a while because it's been so chilly and dreary and me and my brother were kinda sick so we didn't get out for a while there.
I've emailed my friends. A lot. (hahahahahah) (Sorry. Inside joke!) (HA!!!!!!!)
And, that's about it.
Oh, and I writ a post on my blog today at this time, in this chair I'm sitting in, typing on the same keyboard that runs to the same monitor that hooks up to the same hard drive.
(Inhale.)
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

The Corridors so Dank and Dark: by Britney

The corridors so dank and dark
Soundless and wordless are the hallways
The only sound is the raven
And it is so very far away

The corridors so dreary and cheerless
The hallways are just a black mist
You're trying so very hard to escape
And you're wondering why you got into this

The corridors so full of nothingness
The hallways are so soulless
It's just so cold in here
As death leans in to kiss

You try to run through the corridors
Find the door at the end of the hallway
Escape through the threshold
And just keep running, running away

But sadly these corridors
And sadly these hallways
Never have an ending
And so you'll just keep running

Thought you might could use a little dreariness.
You seemed to be getting to happy.
(ends sarcasm)

Hope you enjoy!

Since no one has really answered in my last post I did on this subject, I will ask again. Does anyone think I need to change the title of my blog? If so, suggest names for it.
I, Britney, will be waiting.

Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming. What do we do? We swim, swim. La, la, lala. I love to SWIM. OOO I love to swim!
Are you my conscience?
If not, WHY ARE YOU TELLING ME WHAT TO DO?!?
(Ring, ring) Hold up a sec. I need to take this.
(mumble, mumble) WHAT!!! I TOLD them to tell me what to do?!? You know what? You're fired.
(mumble, mumble) Wait, WHAT?!? I've been talking to myself this whole time?
(mumble, mumble) So, I just fired myself??? Huh.
Confusing.

Book!

Hello world and all who inhabit it.
Couldn't sleep last night, but it's cool now.
I'm actually writing a book about me, my friends, and our Moms and Dads, trying to save the world from Zombies. It's my friends and I who are actually killing the Zombies (well, re-killing), but our Moms and Dads will play a part in the book too.
So, if you see a book in the future titled: The Undead World We Live In, that would be MY book. MY almighty, Awesomely Awesome, Spectacular, book. Book. Book. Book. BOOK!!!

Thank You.

Ideas . . . needed

I . . . need . . . ideas . . . for . . . new. . . song. And not ideas about death. I'm trying to expand what I sing about and poemize about. Poemize? Poemise? Hmm. Not sure on that one. Anyway, any ideas?

Saturday, January 23, 2010

I haven't really been posting pictures lately. So here they are.

This is just one of those family moments.
F.Y.I. The reason I look like I'm in pain is because my dad was squeezing me.

Snow?
Decatur's question: What is this cold white stuff?
Some town with a lot of snow's answer: It's the stuff
that falls down on our town every single freaking year.
Okay. Rant over.

Here are those pictures I promised.
We are at this place called Moe's. Chan is in her own world.
Is it sunny there this time of year Chan? If it is, TAKE ME WITH YOU PLEASE!!!

Sadly, we didn't have time for Alaska and Canada, but I still say this is kick butt awesome.

I'm a crazy rabid squirrel.
It is a little freaky, isn't it?
"Twitch, twitch."

This is when we went to Esther's. We've started this book club/writing thingy.

Slightly different angle.

Okay. Look at the picture. Now look at me. What the heck am I doing?

This is at the Mom's night out. Plus . . . girls.
Contemplate. Contemplate.
F.Y.I. We're watching Hairspray.

So, apparently, I rock the real electric guitar, and the air one. I'm on a roll.
That is, a rock and roll. Ha. Ha-ha.
Laugh now, or else.

Pie and homeschooling

Pie is very tasty.
Homeschooling is very awesome.
I especially like pecan pie.
You get to do a lot more things when you're homeschooled.
Apple pie is good too.
You get to learn a lot more things.
Let's just hope the pie isn't laced with nitroglycerin.
I'll explain. You see, in public school, you sit behind a desk for a number of hours.
Pie is just really tasty, okay?
And then you go home, and have to do all your homework.
And when it's hot and gooey . . .yum.
And by the time you're done, there is no more time to learn anything else, because you have to go to bed, to start the process over again.
But frozen can be good too. It's all frozen together, so it won't spill around your plate.
While you homeschool, the world is yours to explore. You learn what you want to. You learn simply by living.
So, to simplify this, pie is yummy, whether it's hot or cold, as long as it's made right.
And homeschooling is awesome, as long as you live your life exploring, instead of behind a desk.

Hmmm

I don't know what to write. So comment and tell me what to write about.

Cold

"Baby, it's cold outside."
Seriously.
Okay, maybe not as cold as it has been for the past few weeks, but I will be happy when I no longer have to put a jacket on, just to get our mail.
Spring, HURRY UP ALREADY. PLEASE. If that groundhog sees it's shadow, and we're stuck with another six weeks of icy, frosty, chilled to the bone, freezingness, then I might go insane from the cold. Then again, if I'm already insane . . .
Anyways, have a great, awesome, cold, frosty . . . day.

Gathering

I got to see my friends today!!! I haven't seen them all year(HaHaHa.) Because, you know, it's only the tenth, and, uh, hm. If you guys can't figure out my jokes, then you will be in the dark, as far as understanding my posts go. If you can, then you're one of the few. Even my friends say they can't tell my sarcastic voice from my serious one. I mean, what's that about?
-How is it 2010? The year has gone by so fast!(Well, I guess it really hasn't, since the years pretty much go by at about the same time, but, you, you get what I'm trying to say. Right???)
Anyway . . .
I'll post pictures later.
So . . .
Peace out-

P.S. Glub. Glub, glub. Glub, glub, glub, glub, glu-oh, forget it.

SMILE

Smile. It's not that hard. Just turn your face upside down. No, the other way. Dude, you're just making it worse. Stop it. PLEASE. Your face is going to freeze like that. (Especially in this weather.)
It's COLD out. And anyone who can't tell that it is, might need to go see a doctor. (Shrug.)
Well, this has been your random, unneeded, crazy, and a little psychotic news flash. Except for the fact that this isn't really a news flash.
